- Sets guidelines for quality control and proper sanitation procedures
- Responsible for public relations with the college community and general public
- Supervises a management staff of three professionals and an office staff of two
- Oversees vending machine services

- Primary responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the production staff at Prothro Commons Dining Hall
- Responsible for menu planning and production, staff training, purchasing of all food, planning and recipe development
- Responsible for ensuring employees maintain proper food sanitation and quality and presentation of food

- Responsible for maintaining the financial records of the Dining Services Department
- Prepares monthly profit and loss statements for Dining Services departments and processes payables and receivables, petty cash accounts and imprest fund for purchase of alcoholic beverages
- Assist the Director of Dining Services in maintaining Dining Services' overall financial stability
